Bobsledding wasn't invented until the late 1800s. The Swiss combined two skeleton sleds and a steering wheel of some sort, they addid a chassis for support and protection for rich tourists. In 1897 the world's first bobsledding club was invented in St Moritz, Switzerland. Drivers must enter at least 5 international competitions with more specific categories may be in the Winter Olympics Games. Bobsledding is pretty straightforward, there is two-man bob and four-man bobs, in two man bobs one man sits in the sled and the other pushes and then gets in at a good speed. In four-man it is the same thing with more people. Bobsledding tracks need to be 1,200 to 1,300 meters long and 1,200 must be sloped downhill. Combinations of bends and straight stretches is what complicates the tracks. Bobsledding originated in Switzerland where the first bobsled club was created and the first bobsled. Bobsledding is more important in European countries such as Germany, Switzerland and France.
